Netflix’s “The Dig,” is a period piece set in Suffolk, England in 1939 showcasing the excavation of Sutton Hoo, a medieval cemetery dating back to the 6th and 7th centuries. Make sure to have tissues on deck as this film is emotional, dramatic and thought-provoking. It attempts to answer the question of what happens to us after we die. Who will remember us? How will we be remembered? The movie features stars such as Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes and Lily James.
